Collection Agencies

The Nebraska Collection Agency Licensing Board is in the process of transitioning to the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) for all currently licensed collection agencies and future applicants.
In September, we will start a staggered transition for the currently licensed collection agencies. In October, all new applicants will need to start submitting their applications via NMLS. We will reach out to all licensees when it is time to file a transition application. Until then, we ask that you do not file your transition application.

This transition will also be your renewal application for your for the 2022 license.

If you have any questions during this transition please contact our office or the NMLS Call Center at 1-855-665-7123.
