Scheduling an Appointment for Business Services

Business Services will be open to the public by appointment only, resuming Thursday, June 18, 2020.  Appointments may be scheduled for business filings, notary (which includes general notary public applications, apostilles, and authentications) and UCC (uniform commercial code) filings.  Electronic notary public and online notary public applications appointments cannot be scheduled through the online scheduling feature.  Please email sos.enotary@nebraska.gov or call 402-471-2558 to inquire about the possibility for an appointment for electronic or online notary public application needs. 

Masks are requested for appointments.  If you don't have a mask, we can provide one to you. The office drop box, email and phone, are also available to assist with your Business Services needs.  Please view the email confirmation you receive, after scheduling an appointment, for additional information.  Once you arrive for a scheduled appointment please wait in your vehicle or outside the office, we will call you when we are ready for you to enter the office.  Please bring all necessary paperwork and payment to the appointment.  If you are unsure what information you need to bring or have questions please contact the office at 402-471-4079 or email one of the following emails addressed based on the topic:

You may self-schedule appointments online by clicking on the below Schedule an Appointment link.  If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing any symptoms please cancel the appointment.  Appointments are for a maximum of 25 minutes and available every half hour between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Appointments will end promptly after 25 minutes out of courtesy to the next customer and to keep appointments on time.
